The following are a list of links to other websites that I frequently visit and use for reference information.  Some other cool sites are thrown in as well!

Virgao Tech Forum

A forum dedicated to the Virago in all it's shapes and sizes.  A very good resource for anything you need to know about this bike.  It's not just specific to the XV 750 either, XV's from 535-1000+ are covered in the technical libraries.

Do The Ton

A forum dedicated to all things Cafe Racer.  There is plenty of great bikes to look at and you can chat to people about your idea and projects.

Zero Engineering

Very individual custom bikes.  Quality, form and function.  The guys at Zero also made the 3 bikes that feature in the move Iron Man 2.  Not wholly cafe racer style bike designs but very cool none the less.


Deus Ex Machina


A Sydney based custom bike fabricator heavily involved in the cafe racer scene.  Deus make an assortment of bikes ranging from cafe racers to street trackers to bobbers and even the odd race bike.  They also have a cafe attached that is well worth a visit.

Hunter Dirt Riders

Region specific dirt bike website covering the Central Coast and Hunter Valley area of NSW, Australia.  Worth a look in even if you're not local.  My project is being documented here also, the link even takes you to the project thread!
